Hi all,
I think I'm a little confused as to what 'Acid info'
is. I assumed it was similar to MetaData.
The description says that it will embed certain info such as tempo, time sig, etc to the rendered WAV, which can then be read by your DAW.
My problem is that after importing the WAV files to Cubase, I assumed Cubase would automatically recognise the Acid info in the WAVs. But Cubase just plays at the default tempo.
Now I don't want to start changing the tempo automation settings inside Cubase if the WAVs already contain the tempo info.
Do I have to alter any DAW settings for it to read the Acid info?
Any info would be much appreciated, thank you

Hi, I've been working away from home and just got back today. So I've only just had the chance to check out the link you kindly put up.
Just a few questions regarding this Acid Info.
Is there a way to see if the rendered WAVs contain the Acid info? I checked them via the 'Media Info' app, and they don't look any different from any other WAV file.
Also, some people say, if you load acidized WAVs into your DAW you should be prompted
Asking if you'd like to change the project's tempo to the same as the WAVs.
I've tried the WAVs in Cubase, Nuendo, and Fruity Loops but I received no prompt.

It definitely works.
The first song I tried it on had very subtle tempo changes, like from 60 bpm to 61 bpm, so it was kind of hard to tell.
Just now, I tried with a much higher tempo change, and it definitely works. It must all happen automatically under the hood.
