Dan, beautiful song, and expertly arranged and mixed, as usual. That five minutes flew by! You really do a great job combining the various instrument sources into a cohesive, glassy mix. David's points on the intro/interlude are worth consideration.
Really like what you're doing using synths to build song ideas in the style you used to sing. Sounds to me like you've made a seamless transition, and each song sounds better than the last.
