Hi Torrey,

Just re-listened - wow - much better - really gives the choruses more power!

NB - that guitar sound is great!

Best Regards

Hi Torrey.

This is superb! It's very, very friendly on the ears.
I love what you've done.
Your guitar work is first glass.
You production skills are brilliant.
And your wonderful performance is the prize-winning icing on a really fine cake.

You got my standing ovation!

The lead in the intro creates high expectations - which you meet & exceed.
The doubling accentuates some of the sibilant stuff - not bad, not crucial but it's something I'd address for my ears.
The sudden quiet "break down" was a surprise and works a treat.
Mate, the lead lines, licks et al are F.A.B.

Cheers

Enjoyed the listen.
A lot!
Thanks, so much for the kind words! I appreciate it! The flute sound is a pan flute played on my keyboard with the use of the pitch bend wheel! TB

Torrey & Ron,

Y'all keep putting out quality, ear-pleasing music. A pleasure to listen to.
Solid - lyric, melody, arrangement, production, vocals, BGVs, mixing. Solid.

Good. Music.

Tasty acoustic lead fills. You have sung this very well.

A rich sounding production. I haven't heard a badly produced song from you ever.

Tight song construction.

One nit: I think I agree with Nigel about the effect on the solo vocal...your vocals are always so clear and clean...that would be my preference here as well...IMHO.

Thanks Dan, almost without exception, the songs Ron and I write together are purposely written in a way that they can be interpreted as a crossover song in order to reach a wider audience. Ron is currently a hospice chaplain and therefore brings a lot to the table with his insight on the spiritual side of things. BTW there is no doubling of the vocals in the verses! Only in the chorus and bridge sections and I am satisfied with the way they sound! TB

Thanks Brad for your comments! I appreciate it! When I originally composed this as an instrumental, I put the modulation in to give the song a lift and to keep it from getting boring! I don't know what you mean about your reference to Dan here! Take care, TB

I agree that the vocal didn't need doubling, but I didn't find it distracting.

Nice work!

One item ... you nearly lost me with a full minute of Ads before it started playing. But it was worth the wait.
Thanks Elliott! As for the ads I don't have a clue! I have a next pro account and never encounter ads. Perhaps it has something to do with the listener's account! I suppose it's something i have no control over

Like we said over at SC this is a BIG acoustic production!
Great arrangement and dynamics.

The synth interlude and the mod near the end are very effective.

The band is excellent and your work on the acoustic fills, etc. is stellar.
Nice tone and chops.

Fine write and, of course, vocals also.
We liked how the write leaves one to connect their own dots.

Well done and we enjoyed it!
