First Love

Your first love, or at least you thought of it as love. Young girl has crush on young boy but is to shy to say so. Young boy has crush on her but is also to shy to say so. But they finally meet and live happily for a short period of time before they break up. I'm sure many of us have gone through that extremely nervous, hand sweating first interaction with the opposite sex.

BiaB Style - Emeral - slow, peaceful 3/4 orc
Tempo - 45 BPM

Bass - Kontakt - Amadeus - Full String Ensemble
Piano - Lounge Lizard - Tined Bassed - 23 Jazz
Strings - Kontakt - Solid State Strings
Guitar - Kontakt - New World Strings

Me via my breath and keyboard controllers:
Swam - Flute - Barocco
Kontakt - Kurt Hunter - Virtuoso Bassoon

As always all comments are welcomed.

Hi, Mario.

Pleasant instrumental. I'm not a huge fan of the SWAM flute in general (I've got it myself), but that's not on you.

It's nice to hear a bassoon! smile

Vocal control, you say. Never heard of it. Is that some kind of ProTools thing?

Could've been a scene in a 1950s movie - maybe fro the Tammy franchise.
Nice.

Aww, that was beautiful, Mario! Could have easily been the soundtrack of a movie, you know, the moment when boy sees girl for the first time, or something. You captured the sentiment so well, I thought. Bravo smile

Mario,

Love this... To me it has that quintesential "summer sound" that is so familiar and brings back memories.

Great mix as usual and always love your wind controller.

it's like beautiful classical music. Let's hope that the 2 little ones won't end up alone in a retirement home.

Beautiful, even if I don't hear what you're talking about in the description.
I rather 'hear' a summer breeze over a beautiful landscape with a few birds in the air.
Yes, there are birds.
And a unicorn.
Don't ask why...

Mario, super cool piece! Nice harmonic journey and the bassoon is a new treat. You really own that breath controller technique. Love the pad(s) you have thrumming beneath it all, am guessing those are the strings. Just a beautiful composition, and I can picture it playing over the scene you described. Well done!

Thanx David. I like the bassoon also and in fact I just picked up Swam's double reeds. They sound great.

That is the beauty of instrumental music, i.e. no words to direct you. You are free to let your mind create your own imagery. I'm glad you liked it and I will not ask about that unicorn!

I closed my eyes, and just drifted off to the smooth melody of this one. Good vibes, and beautiful.

Hi Mario,

As I'm sitting here typing, I glanced up and saw Elliott Kayne's comment. Like Elliott, I'm also drifting along on the musical texture. It's like I'm hearing a river flow lazily along, and I'm laying back in a canoe and simply going where the river takes me. This is beautiful music and a very thoughtfully arranged and performed. Quite honestly, you took me on a wonderful journey.

Thanx Noel. The beauty of instrumental music is that there are no words to guide you, thus you are free to interpret the song anyway you wish. I'm glad you had a wonderful journey and enjoyed my song.

Yeah this is great.

My parents had a bunch of "wine and champagne and roses" style easy listening music albums back in the day, and this sounds so much like it. Like Henry Mancini.

Maybe you could post this to SongTradr for sync licensing for retro movies!
