Hello!

Here's an instrumental that I wrote and recorded a few years ago at a studio, using BiaB for the bass, drums and keyboards. I recorded 3 tunes at that studio, and was very impressed with BiaB. In fact, I just bought the 2024 version myself.

Thanks for listening!

The drums must've been "stems" as the treatment is unlike a standard stereo file.
What do you perform?

Cheers

Randy, really nice tune with some cool harmonic shifts. Well played guitars with nice tone and FX. Like the middle 8 a lot. Well done!

Welcome, Randy. Guitars come through very well, but that drum track is pretty loud --the snare. Man, nice guitar. Cool feel and an interresting melody. Nice bass, too. Yeah, I like the dynamic where the drums cut out for a bit.

Enjoy whatever happens!

Thank you - yes, that drum track is too loud. On the projects I use BiaB, I'll have to monitor the drum volume. The engineer at the studio did all the BiaB inputting, so that's a new project for me to learn.

This is a gorgeous laid back instrumental composition, arrangement and mix. I particularly like that recurring guitar phrase. Wonderful

Welcome to the forum Randy, good project to start with. I would like to now what style you all used on BIB. I'm interesting to know what drums is used here. I liked it a lot.
Cheers

Unfortunately I have no idea which drums or styles the engineer used for this track - which is why I bought BiaB - so I can learn how to create/choose proper backing tracks for other tunes that I have.

Welcome Randy,

Those are some serious chops man.
I agree about the drums being to loud. I would also change the snare as there much better sounding ones, but that is just my opinion.
Repeating a phrase creates a song and separates it from a jam.
I liked it.
