Good song, good choice of instruments in a nice arrangement. But the best thing is what you guys did, the vocals/harmonies and guitar playing. I love that! Thanks a lot Peter

Great song and I love the acoustic guitar that ripples through the whole thing. I also like to hear solo guitar breaks as in this as they add to the dynamic of the whole piece. Thanks Peter

The dynamic duo strikes again. Leon, great vocal and lyrics. Peter, great guitar and harmonies. A flashback to the 60's. Super song. Thanks Mario Peter

Hi Peter and Leon,
Nice to hear this song of yours. The vocals fit together very nicely, as some colleagues here also think. The lyrics are also nice to hear/read. Like them a lot; not 'to say goodbye' of course. That's too difficult, as you pointed out very well!
As far as I can remember, it's been a while since you last sang together, or am I wrong? If I'm right, I'm glad you're back! If I'm wrong, sorry, but also glad to hear you both again,
Hans Thanks Hans We have only posted a couple so far this year. Peter

Good to hear a new one from you two!
Read through the other comments while listening, for my tastes Leons vocal is sitting right where it should. It sounds like you are using a bit more reverb on it than you have in the past, and I think it really works well.
Good song, great playing. Only complaint was the fadeout ending, seemed a little abrupt. Thanks Dave, I agree the fade envelope was abrupt. Peter

Splendid feel and I love the harmony. Terrific vocals, and a well-crafted song, Peter & Leon. Ooo. I was waiting for that guitar solo. You never disappoint, and I love the fade spoken by 6-strings. Mix is excellent. Much enjoyed!! Thanks Marty Peter Good song gentlemen. I agree with all here regarding the vocals, they came out very well. It also has a real catchy melody that leaves you humming it long after the song is over. It may have just been my system, but the very end sounded a little cold, like it need a bit more fading. Great song guys. Thanks Peter Great to hear Leon! Been a while. Good tracks - strong BAND. Sounds like a tight band that knows how to lay tracks. ("we don't need outside guys in the studio!...") The BGVs throughout are nice. Good mix.
Nice!
fj Thanks floyd Peter

Peter and Leon...really well done production...I loved the vocals....the harmonies were cool...and the guitar work was stellar (of coarse!)...reminded me of the great rock tunes of the late 60's early 70's!

Hi Peter.
Yet another fine song for you and Leon to add to your collection. Right from the start you grabbed me and held my attention. The lyrics are excellent and your performance is superb. What had me thinking the most was just how polished this sounded. I heard nothing that said "home studio". This music is radio ready from start to end.
I thoroughly enjoyed listening. --Noel

Nice laid-back folk song. I really like the harmony that you extended throughout the song.

I agree about the 60s sound, this has a great 60 sound and it's so good that I think it could have played on the radio back then! 🙂
I just like the whole vibe overall, the production the playing, the singing, everything. The lyrics are fantastic.
Great job on this one fellas!!

So good to hear you and Leon again!
The harmony is excellent …like brothers.
We obviously love the guitar 😀 and the drums and bass sound very good. The mix sets up a great soundstage on our monitors.
Y’all are a great team with both the lyric and melody.
This section below illustrates how the melody captures that building of emotions that are about to overflow:
“It’s hard – to keep it real All these emotions to conceal It’s easy to lose control Pour out what’s in my soul”
Love it!

It's easy to say that this is a pleasant melodic pop song, like straight from the sixties with a simple message, nice melody and enjoyable vocals, Leon is doing great job and the harmonies feel warm. The band sounds like they have played together for years, the drums fit well. I feel like I'm listening this in a live evening at a small local pub, somehow brings me an Irish feeling and the band called The Saw Doctors.
