Hi Nigel. There are a few choices.

You can do the minimal install onto your new laptop, and then move your PG Music external USB drive between machines. All you have to do is point the RealTracks and RealDrums to the drive letter of the external drive.

Tip: I made the drive letter higher than usual, so it doesn't matter what else I connect; the PG Music drive is always drive letter P.

You could also install everything on the new laptop. You have three activations per year, and that's one of the main reasons: people run BIAB on more than one machine.

You probably knew these things though, so tell us more. I don't know what level to address this question. Did that help?
