Hi Janet,

Your post and question may see more views and get more responses by posting in the +++ Band-in-a-Box for Windows +++ forum section.

Your post reads like you may have a corrupt song (SGU/MGU) file. Since you are a Windows user you have RealBand. I would run the file through RealBand. RealBand handles a song file differently than Band-in-a-Box so sometimes it can correct corrupt song files. To follow this suggestion:

1) Use Band-in-a-Box to save the current song file under a different name.
2) Open RealBand.
3) Load the saved song file into RealBand.
4) Use RealBand to save the song file as a SGU file.
5) Open Band-in-a-Box.
6) Load the RealBand SGU file into Band-in-a-Box.
7) Play the song file.

Another thought, when copying and pasting from the chord sheet you are given a choice what data will be copied. Uncheck many of the default choices so only chords are copied.
