This would fit wonderfully in a James Taylor or Carole King set list.
Your voice sounds smooth and strong in this lower register.

I don't make music anymore, but I lurk here on occasion. So happy to listen to this great tune. Out of all the praise for it, nobody has mentioned how clever the title is. (Maybe it's just obvious). Down on your love - like down on your luck. I felt as if that deserved special mention and was worth coming out of lurk mode for. Anyway, like I said, maybe it's obvious to most. But I'm here to say: BRILLIANT!

What a beautiful song, Greg! I like Guitarhacker's and DC Ron's comments! I feel it. Everything about it is first class, except for me, you could have used something to peak it in the instrumental break. But as others have said, it's excellent lyrically, it's great chord structure and it's sung so wonderfully.

Hi, Greg. I was going to do a critical listen, but found myself listening and zoning off to Happy Place instead. I tried it a second time, same result: I got to the end, and... Ooops, end of the song. I should try listening again. It's not that I didn't hear the song - I followed the lyrics and everything, I swear! - but each time it just turned of my critical thinking and made me happy.

"Give your soul what it needs" - this is definitely a song my soul needs. Happy song full of smile and sunshine. And when a voice of an angel is singing it, the background vocals are silky smooth, the chord progression is to my taste and the BIAB instruments present their best quality, this is a perfect summer song.
