If you already own EZmix 2, the pre-order upgrade is discounted from 69 € to 59 € (I assume the same for $), plus you get one free Expansion Pack for EZMix 2 now.

The deal for non-owners of EZMix 2 is better...99 € vs. 150 €. There's also a bundle deal for non-owners that includes 6 EZMix 2 Expansion Packs for 175 € vs. 250 €. If I read Toontrack's announcement correctly, I believe that you still get the extra free Expansion Pack, for a total of 7 (6 from the normal bundle + the freebie). The regular price of an Expansion Pack is 39 €. With this bundle deal, you're getting 6 Expansion Packs for 76 €, that's 12,67 € each, a really good deal.

This deal came up on the Cakewalk forum, as well as one for Scaler 2. Someone asked about buying Scaler 2 now or waiting for the Scaler. 3 My answer was "If you buy it now, will you use it now? If yes, buy it now. If no, then don't buy it now." To me, that also seems like a reasonable approach to this EXMix offer.

EZMix is a very versatile tool that can be used for an amazing number of different tasks. There are a ton of videos on YouTube (some better than others). If you don't own EZMix yet, I suggest you spend a little bit of time researching it.
