It's a bit spooky with the suggestion of stalking, missiles & bullets tinging the regret.
I suppose regret & loss are often tinged with less generous emotions.
Sounded great, read well and prompted me to ponder so ALL GOOD!

I think what I like about this song the most is the percussion . . . it really pops and give some great accent to the tune. Your vocal is stellar on this . . . sits so well in the mix. But, boy, those drums sound so, so good.

Wow does that ever set the scene!
Loose and light! How do you do that?
It has such a bouncy feel that we love and that feel goes well with the resignation of the protagonist to his situation.
The acoustic guitars, the electric bass and the drums create a great soundstage.
And your vocal sounds perfect - the ba ba ba outro had us both smiling.
