These are thoughtfully made guitars relative to the bottom end stuff. The backs I saw in the video were solid wood, not the laminates found in the less expensive guitars. The internal bracing looked about right. Have seen a version of those rotating clamping jigs in the Martin factory. Never played a Crafter but I'd be inclined to try one given the opportunity. My experience with many mass produced acoustic instruments from Asia is that they can be VERY well constructed but lack the nuance (hide glue, thin tops, shaved braces, etc) that separate a good instrument from a great one. My dream guitar was a certain Asian made Breedlove until I took one home. Beautiful to look at and a joy to play, but had no acoustic voice. In my experience, electric guitars have a much narrower gap between "just ok" and "great". YMMV....
