Background:I got to thinking a few months back what might be missing in my bass playing portfolio and I realized that a walking bass line was missing. So I embarked on a little side collab journey and found it wasn’t so "little". This is perhaps the most difficult bass line I’ve ever worked on, because blues really isn’t my favorite genre and a walking line is constant motion. Nonetheless, I’m glad I tackled it. When I’m too old to play anymore it should be satisfying to look back on what I attempted.
I’m not sure I’d call this a “song” per-se, it’s more the result of learning and self-study; a demo exercise if you will. Comments are always welcome.
From a BiaB perspective, this song is why I asked about custom endings in this thread.
Post 812776 I never could get BiaB to do this classic blues ending so I did my best on my keyboard and on my bass.
