The proper way to close a non-modal floating window is to hit the X.

So what would be the purpose of the OK button?
In previous versions of BIAB, the Chord Options dialog was not a "floating window", and would require you to click OK to apply the changes and close the window. Currently I don't think there is a purpose for that button, so I will recommend to the developers that it be removed. This is now in our bug tracking database under id# 4526.
