Walking in Your Sleep Walking in Your Sleep is my attempt at humor, i.e. if you are old enough you will get it. Actually on 6/9 my good friend BobH came over. We jammed and recorded a rhythm guitar track that he made up on the spot! Bob mentioned that he would like to hear a steel guitar lead. So I deleted my track and via my keyboard controller played a lap steel guitar - Kontakt - Lap Steel. BiaB style - Wheelin' Tempo - 120 PBM I deleted the strings, guitar, and drum tracks Piano - Lounge Lizard - Reed Based - Warm 1 Utility track - Kontakt - Amadeus - Full String Ensemble And Kontakt - The String Collection - Ensemble Grande The drums are from GeooveMonkee MIDI loops - Steven Slate - SSD5 - Nashville Fat As always all comments are welcomed.
Back in my day the only time we started panic buying was when the bartender shouted "last call"!

I dig this one. Great job on the lap track. Easy going tempo and an enjoyable listen throughout.
Very well done!

Mario, nicely done! Very melodic and fun work on the steel. Love how you "slide" so easily into the MIDI instruments. Know MIDI took a back seat for me when RTs took off. But you've got me thinkin'...not always a good thing. Ha!

Well, with the title I was thinking of a 1-6-4-5 thing like Sleepwalk, but I guess I'm too old to remember. What I DO get though is how good Sundays must be at your place. Whenever you and Bob get together, there is spontaneous magic. That steel sounds good. I keep reaching for the slider to make it louder, but... Another sensational Sunday. Hey, today is Sunday... enjoy!

Hey, today is Sunday... enjoy! Thanx Marty. I tried very hard not to do a Santo and Johnny remake! Yes, Bob and I even scare ourselves sometimes! We have been jamming for a number of years now. But really all it takes is 6 strings, 3 chords, and a couple of beers to get us going

That lap steel VSTi is very realistic and easy to play as it uses velocity to activate the slides, or any other articulation available. You keep getting better and better. This is a great instrumental. Interesting time signature, and great use of instrumentation. Thanx Elliott. I appreciate your kind words.

The drums are from GeooveMonkee MIDI loops - Steven Slate - SSD5 - Nashville Fat Nice work on that keyboard controller, makes me want to buy one. The only nit I have is that to me, it ended rather abruptly, would have been nice for that last chord to ring out a bit more. PS> Never heard of GeooveMonkee. Is that a new Studio One feature?
https://soundcloud.com/user-646279677BiaB 2026 Windows For me there’s no better place in the band than to have one leg in the harmony world and the other in the percussive. Thank you Paul Tutmarc and Leo Fender.

Thanx Steve.Yes it did end rather abruptly. That is how Bob ended it. GrooveMonkee is an independent MIDI drum and now bass loop company. They have some great drum loops and many times I will either add them to BiaB MIDI drums or replace BiaB drums with them. https://groovemonkee.com/

This is a lovely dreamy soundtrack-like theme for which I think lyrics could be added or, solos.
Some favourite Waoist Adages: #1: Play on the Way. #13: Ask not for whom the flower blooms, it blooms for you. #58: Bring consciousness to it. #63: On the road to effortlessness, effort must be made. #92: Be Love Now, the rest will come on its own.

Wow Mario, that was really cool. I had no idea that a controller could do that, probably couldn't in anybody elses hands but yours. I too thought it started and ended a bit abruptly, and I'm kind of partial to steel, so I may have dropped the background tracks a little and put the steel out front a little more. This is stellar!
