Bob, you are an excellent lyricist. I find myself reading and absorbing the lyrics before I listen to the song. That's a helluva of an opening:
I’m looking for time
I’m searching for words
I don’t need an extension
No payment deferred
It doesn't get much better than that.
Vocal performance melds well with lyrical content. I love the soft accompaniment. Perfect for the song.

Ditto what floyd said AND this would be perfect for Lucinda as it has her feel all over it.
And in particular her Essence album.

Wonderful poetry, mystical feeling like in "We’re wasting our fortune that love can compound". Excellent vocals, fragile and emotional, those almost spoken words are true delight. The band creates enjoyable atmosphere around the story. Haunting and beautiful journey in time.
