I can import either a Standard Midi File into my synth or import it as a WAV file

To convert a midi drumtrack (or any midi track to wav) you need to render it or record it. Since MIDI has no sounds on its own you can record a midi synth playing the midi track. If you are using the keyboard as the sound module you will need to reroute the output sounds from the keyboard back into the computer to record it. But a much simplier method which may be suitable is to simply use a DX or VST soft synths that is provided with BIAB.

Now I am working from memory... In the Options - Midi output select the DX synth (instead of your keyboard). Now go back to the main screen and simply drag and drop the Drums track from the top line to your Desktop. The D&D feature will allow you to move the actual midi track or you can select "render midi to wav". That will do it.
