Hi everyone,

I'm new to BIAB - I mainly intend to use it as a practice tool for jazz guitar comping/soloing.

I'm trying enter in a new song from what I'm reading off a lead sheet - but I'm not sure if there's an easy way to input things like repeat markings, 1st/2nd endings, etc...

For example, I'm trying to build "Four On Six" W. Montgomery:

INTRO: 16 bars total - 4 bars, followed by 4 bars of the 1st, then 2nd ending
HEAD: 16 bars total - 4 bars, followed by 4 bars of the 1st, then 2nd ending
SOLOS: 16 bars total, for an unspecified number of loops

Must I "expand" this out to one long song, except that I can specify where the "Chorus" is, and how many times it repeats?

I thought I saw one of the recent videos that showed repeat markings, but I can't figure out how to enable that - perhaps it is only for the Windows version.

It seems like a lot of videos use older versions of BIAB. On the one hand, the fundamentals of putting a song together might remain the same throughout the versions of the program, but on the other hand, seeing buttons/features that don't exist on new versions of the program just confuses things, in my opinion.

Cheers,
Jeff
