This is a very nice song. I enjoyed my listen very much. The only thing I found worth mentioning (other than I really enjoyed it) is that the harmonica on the right channel is a bit busy and can be slightly distracting when your vocal is also in play.

Jim, another great effort capturing the vibe of that part of the Florida coast. Nice job arranging all the instruments and keeping your vocals up front. Makes me want to find some warm sand to push my toes into!

What a great song idea and a wonderful execution. This one reminds me of Greg Johnson --a HUGE compliment for sure. Man, that harmonica calls you back. What a beautiful song, and I know what you mean, Jim. Great vocal and lyrics. When I read the title, I thought I misread, then figured you miswrote. HA!! There is no mistaken that this is a terrific creation.

Thanks, Greg. I appreciate the nice comment. You also must have found “Defying Gravity” on my Reverberation page. You’re correct this is a cover of an old Jesse Winchester song that Buffett covered in 1976. I always loved the tune. That one is all BIAB too.

Jim...this is such a well done song in every aspect...love the easy feel and the vocals are superb...that harmonica weaving in and out gives it that lazy, laid-back feel...brilliant use of the BiaB tracks...great production and great song!

Jim, excellent production! As others have mentioned, that harmonica really works well in this, and of course, I loved the steels you used - just me, I might them up a little, but just slightly. They were a great touch to an already great sound.

Clever title and nice dreamy lyrics. Great vocals tell the story softly. The melody and the chord progression take me to straight to the beach in the moonlight. Long list of instruments, so I'm very surprised that you have combined them nicely to give a pleasant and lush sound, yet feeling light and simple. That harmonica works very well.
