Rustyspoon# Veteran Joined: Mar 2018 Posts: 6,695	Gordon, it has standard GM soundset too. Is it good? It's OK for a 23 year old synth. (This is emulation of a hardware unit) I would say prime usage is just to be able to play GM stuff. And if you are after a particular sound. But...if you are looking for somewhat realistic sounding instruments, this is not it. The best overall software option that would map GM automatically and do program changes in my opinion is Halion/Sonic (full), but the newest version has issues with GM. So it has to be a version before that. For the price, Roland VA is not bad.
