I was made aware that I was posting too much too fast, blocking others from posting. I'm new here and didn't realize that. I'm very sorry! What intervals would acceptable for posting?

I began in 1970 with a 7 piece dance band. I had other bands, but my most successful one was "The four Windows", a 4 piece guitar band. Many concerts, TV shows, Record contract with EMI and a guitar hit in 1982 in Europe with my "Lonely Seagull".

Wolf, well, there aren't really RULES about that, per se, but my best advice on ETIQUETTE is that this forum works best when each member's postings and reviews are in balance. So post a single song, review a few songs by others, and see how it goes. Usually, but now always, the reviews on one of your songs will drop to close to zero before the next post is expected. This might take a week, but could be more or less. Floods of songs seldom get the attention they deserve. And if you are not reviewing the songs others post, interest in your songs will decline. It's kind of Darwinian in that respect.

From the song of yours I've listened to, think you have a lot to contribute, and am looking forward to listening to many more of your songs.

(FWIW, am pretty sure you can "edit" posts to delete them if you want to recalibrate your posts.)

Others may feel differently, and I defer to them. Just offering my two cents (or so)...

Ditto. It's tempting to dump a bunch of music, especially when you first get here and have a lot of music in the stack.

Take your time. Post one song. Review the music of others here. Comment on their music and reply to those comments on your song. When your song drops off the front page you can toss another one into the showcase. Asking people to listen to half a dozen songs posted on the same day is a bit much.

Take time to stop and smell the roses. Relax and be a part of the family.

No big deal. No harm, no foul. Now you know.... So Carry on.

For me it's easy: I try to listen and comment daily...of late I've been less frequent but I still try to listen & comment to a few in a sitting. I post my own music when I have a new one ready or one that needs ears. The reality that i have something every month or so is what paces that posting. I didn't & don't post previously recorded work because I'm usually after the details the good ears on the forum can give me on how to improve the piece.
Good on you for acknowledging the situation and seeking to redress it.

Cheers
