I love the jam.
That's the one thing I really do miss about playing live with other really good musicians. Just kick it off and see where the muse takes us.
I can certainly see the similarities to working with art/paints, and other forms of artistic expression.
I've done a little bit of art with wood and epoxy and you can be extremely creative with that stuff. Very satisfying to see the end result. Very similar to writing and creating music.
