Elliot, nice song, and a FANTASTIC vocal performance. Love your instrument choices and layering of sounds to add interest without cluttering the mix. Once again, your arrangement is splendid, and gives the tune a very satisfying dynamic flow. Really enjoyed this!

Hi Elliott,
Great old-school rocker! I love the drive of the bass and the lively drums. Real nice vocal, too. i think the piano on the left could be just a bit louder.
Nice tempo change to bring it to and end. Thanks for a sweet listen!
best to you,
Alan

Hello Elliott,
This is great rock and roll from the 50's. The vocals are really good. The drums, bass, horn section and other instruments are also great. Enjoyed my listen a lot.
Best regards.

YEOW!! I pushed Play and instantantly had the feeling of just missing that train. Then I ran my butt off and grabbed on the pole of the caboose, shimmied up, then proceeded to dance through each car with the gusto of your rhythm, Elliott. Absolutely sensational sound, sir. This is just the kinid of song that could actually wake up the dead, man. Excellent vocal --impressive packing all of those words in such a pace. Instruments and production are perfect. When the song ended it went stright to All The Way and I settled down nicely. Thanks for the ride, Elliott.

Wowza! Great movin' song! Creative write and well performed. Didn't expect that ending and liked the voice change in "thats what the man said". Nice choices!

I have a weakness for boogie, it gets my feet moving immediately. And you have THE perfect voice for it. Love it!

It sounds original Rock n Roll rather than rockabilly - probably because the bass doesn't slap. It's a cool cool thing though.

Hi Elliott,
Another top song from you and I really enjoyed it. Plenty of light and shade and you sure put a lot of work into it.

Thanks for the positive comments. Getting the slow down ending was the most difficult part of this song, I did that in Cubase 13 using the Tempo track for 175-100 then sang the lead lines over the tempo change. It actually worked to my surprise. LOL !!

“Man cant live by bread alone Spice of life is in the bones You're dead way longer than alive Gonna live life in overdrive”
Now that’ll grab ya for the ride! We are always in for a boogie rocker vibe.
Remarkable use of all those BiaB session players. Along with your performances it sounds like a well honed gigging group. Nice!
Excellent mix also with fine “pop” and dynamics. Good snare sound too.
That is a fine vocal in tone, phrasing and processing.
There’s a lot to dig here!
