Thanks Ron! I'm probably about done tweaking this thing! Take care, TB

This to our ears is simply excellent classic rock.
And yep as others have mentioned the Beatles and ELO peek through now and then.

As always your vocals are so well phrased and tight.
The processing does sound a bit different -- not a negative ... just curiosity. smile

All your guitar parts and the bass bit are fine and work excellently with the BiaB tracks.
Well honed session guys!

We love rock of the era and vibe!
Thanks,

J&B

Hi Torrey,

Yep - Beetles written all over it. You know how to cook a song with all the savory, spicy, and enticing additives.

I quoted you above as it reminds me of a short conversation I had with another novelist a few years back. He asked me when I felt I was done editing and rewriting, as there always seems to be something to change that might make a particular passage better. My answer: "When I'm sick and tired of redoing it." As suggested by you, I think that also applies to our music creation. If we didn't decide enough is enough, nothing would ever get written or played - as there is always something we think we could do better in places.

Anyway, this is a great song and a terrific listen. It took me back to the day I reported for duty at Fort Belvoir, VA in 1965. As I was unpacking my duffle bag, the guy in the next bunk had his transistor radio on and it was playing "Paperback Writer." This song somewhat reminds me of that song. Thanks for a nice flashback!

Alan

I enjoy any opportunity to hear your voice and in another fab song it's even better.

Thanks Ray! I have changed the processing several times since your post! TB

Torrey,

It's a great rock song.
I could really feel your love for the Beatles in this tune.
There's been a resurgence of interest in the Beatles recently.
So I think it's perfect for the current mood.
Your vocals and guitars are great as usual.
Enjoyed my listen a lot.

Best regards.

Hi Torrey.
I've also been out of it for a while but it's good to be back.
Nicely balanced song and I love those harmonies.

Awesome rocker Torrey. Loved the snap of the snare. Vocals and harmonies were excellent. Guitar had the perfect bite to it.

Great song! I like the rhythm and the harmonies very much. The mix could be a little better, especially the vocals, but that's just my opinion.

I began in 1970 with a 7 piece dance band. I had other bands, but my most successful one was "The four Windows", a 4 piece guitar band. Many concerts, TV shows, Record contract with EMI and a guitar hit in 1982 in Europe with my "Lonely Seagull".
