Thanks Firesong. Yes absolutely, it's written from a first person perspective. It has to be positive.... she's happy now.

Rob.... ahhh yes, the old cakewalk days.... such a heady time.

Thanks again old friend.

Herb, this is fantastic.
Super synth vocal and lyrics (sorry about what your daughter had to go through)
Super job on the synth and guitar tracks.
Outstanding mix.

You're a Marine.

You're crazy.

Why isn't the song called Hope You're Having Fun in Heaven. Or, Gone. And I Mean: GONE GONE. Or, Hubby the Headless Chicken Runner?*

Sitting here scratching my jaw on this one.

Thanks David....

No need for jaw scratching or confusion.

Restraint. He never laid a hand on her. So he gets off easy.

I'm glad you like the song

The funny thing is.... well, maybe not exactly haha funny.... She saw the red flags before they got married but decided to ignore it and thought it would change. It didn't. Hopefully, lessons learned and not to be repeated.

Again thanks for listening

Herb,

It's a tough subject to handle but you did it admirably!
This has an extremely clean sort of 80's sound!
Great job with the vocal work but I have to say your non-synth vocals always sound great!
Awesome production!
Thanks, TB

First, we are glad your daughter got out of that relationship!

The lyric and vocal work together very nicely. Excellent work in “humanizing” Solaria. No doubt those nuances took a lot of contemplation and effort.

Your guitar and the rest of the band (synths and BiaB) sounded very cohesive … like a fine group of well honed session guys.

Nicely done all the way around,

J&B

PS: All things said, no doubt you could have sung this well!

Very uplifting chorus. An inspiration for your daughter. I love the 80s feel to this song.

Solid production/instrumentation/mix. Synth voice sounds awesome.
