I am refering to a fixed tempo of the project. If a recording was not used with a click track the tempo can vary. Melodyne can analyze the the averages and stretch and compress the audio to a fixed tempo of the project. OK, got ya. I would call that quantization. I have not had much need for this. In general for me, when the tempo changes it is intentional, so I just need to use a tempo map to bring any midi to the grid. Thanks.
