Sounds Killer!!! Great job with the arrangement, vocals, and production!! I didn't know this was Sam Cooke. There was some rocker (Dave Mason?) who performed it in the old days and I always liked it! Well done!! Take care. Greg

Personally, I would make the mix sound ( especially the piano ) a little "rounder", if that makes sense. It kinda hit my ears hard, when it first started, and continued to do so in spots. But, that said: this is a majestic version of the famous Sam Cooke song, which does it justice and then some. You, as others have said, have got the perfect voice for this. I love your interpretation, you make the song your own. Bravo.

That long B3 riff was worth twice the price of admission. The BVs were spot on. Everything "Cooks" on this one.

Thanks for your comments and in particular the suggestion regarding the strident piano. On listening again I completely agree with you and I will give it an EQ cut before publishing this song. I really appreciate these kind of suggestions for improvements - I wish there were more.
