Yep - Beetles written all over it. You know how to cook a song with all the savory, spicy, and enticing additives.

I quoted you above as it reminds me of a short conversation I had with another novelist a few years back. He asked me when I felt I was done editing and rewriting, as there always seems to be something to change that might make a particular passage better. My answer: "When I'm sick and tired of redoing it." As suggested by you, I think that also applies to our music creation. If we didn't decide enough is enough, nothing would ever get written or played - as there is always something we think we could do better in places.

Anyway, this is a great song and a terrific listen. It took me back to the day I reported for duty at Fort Belvoir, VA in 1965. As I was unpacking my duffle bag, the guy in the next bunk had his transistor radio on and it was playing "Paperback Writer." This song somewhat reminds me of that song. Thanks for a nice flashback!
