Thanks, Brain. But I still call the anima she. Marty, this is a great song, and the performance and production are very present and real. GREAT vocals. Really like the Beatlesque "loose and lovely" outro. It's all just divine.
FWIW, the lead vocal at 2:04 ("She's full of life...") sounds distorted no matter how many times I listen to it. Might be me, as it often is.
Had to Google "(Jungian) anima". That's some trippy stuff. Mistyped it as "anime" the first time, which gave some amusing results, but am sure that's not what you had in mind at all.
Love your new song! Ha, thanks, Ron. Yeah, I do have an anime side, too. Yeah, there's that kind of thing in every song I sing. I try fixing them with all kinds of stuff thrown at them. I've blamed my mic. But I think it comes down to not a very good singer with a lousy, messed-up mouth.
