Hey Herb,
When I first saw 4 guitars and a mando, I thought this will be a muddy mess.
But not so, you produced a great pop song and the mix is crisp and clean.

Great job.

For me there’s no better place in the band than to have one leg in the harmony world and the other in the percussive. Thank you Paul Tutmarc and Leo Fender.

This is really an enjoyable listen...aka, I really like the vibe! Good use of the hook and the guitar fills and lead are simply awesome! Great job and I appreciate the breakdown chorus as well.

Guitars are perfect in their response. So well played.

Much appreciated. Thanks for your kind words

Really great song, lyrics, groove. Synth V vocals sound great very natural, I think a harmony on the chorus would bring it out a bit more. The mix is perfect ... less is definitely more. Great guitar leads throughout. Very Nice !!!

Thanks. I always think about a harmony after I get it finished. Maybe I should make a post-it note to hang on my monitor to remind me.....

Thanks for listening. I used the Waves Space Rider reverb on the vocals. I was highly impressed with the quality of the reverb it has. Really nice plug.

Pop? Yeah but not over the top pop smile meaning it's melodic and engaging!

The mix sounds good on the Kalis and those drums are standout.

Hey you sat in most excellently with the BiaB wrecking crew.
Fine tone and chops on those guitar parts.

Nice production all around!

Herb,

I find more and more that less is more in a mix. A good approach to add then subtract until the mix is clear and resonates. You nailed it in spades on this one. Catchy, with a commercial goodness to it. Outstanding tune! As good as it gets.

Thanks Deej. Yes indeed. When one figures that out, that's when things start falling into place. Just because you can add tracks doesn't mean you should. I'm still tweeking this behind the scenes. A few things about it still bug me so....... Thanks for listening.
