Perhaps PG should put some sort of identifier on the styles that are MicroChord compatible like they did with the drum stems.
It seems that not all styles can use the micro chord feature.

There have been suggestions that is the case, but do we know for certain? We don't, unless PGM make a statement to that effect. The Drum Stems show what can and cannot be used via the value in the Stems Column. ![[Linked Image - Only viewable when logged in]](https://www.pgmusic.com/forums/ubbthreads.php?ubb=download&Number=28437&filename=2024-07-29_22-18-14.jpg) RealTracks / Styles that are capable of successfully using micro-chords could have a similar indicator showing their compatibility. At least, that is the way I see such an identifier as working.

It seems that not all styles can use the micro chord feature. We were able to add an identifier for Drum Stems because we needed to add more audio assets to each RealDrum for the stems to exist. With MicroChords every style is capable of using them, as no changes were required to any of the Styles or Realtracks themselves.

Is there anything you can comment on about the question that some have, that they think some styles may not be capable of using any configuration of microchord? It’s not that all styles can be used; I think the question is, will all styles support microchords in any place we choose to use them? For example, if the style is a very simple one, could I expect to hear four shots per beat when that style would never have recorded that rhythm?

There has been significant discussion on these pages where users have not been able to successfully place audio in the correct places using micro-chords. Some styles are perceived to work better than others. If every style is capable of using micro chords, presumably they can be placed anywhere, If so, we have to ask, why are the results so inconsistent? Would really like to see a definitive answer to Matt's question.
