A couple of things....

Yep.. It's time to be writing Christmas songs.... Good job.

I was thinking I heard distortion so I listened on some headphones for clarity. It was the electric piano along with other things in the mix contributing to mud in that frequency range. Use EQ to fix the mud. When you have two or more things in the same frequency range they will compete for the space and the result is a muddy mix. Use EQ to carve out BOTH in that range. It can seem counter intuitive but it works. Don't EQ the main mix to try and fix this. Go to the specific tracks that are the cause of the mud and work on those.

This song is eerily similar to the old standard by Johnny Rivers, If it Don't work out. Your repeating lick is practically the same as is in the Rivers song. The vocal melody is close as well in places.

It would be really nice if you would take the time to visit and comment on other people's music here as Ray pointed out above. AND... when you reply to someone in a comment, please include the name of the person you're replying to so we know who it's for.

A signature ....example..... look at the bottom of my post here and see what I use the signature space for.
