Another twist on the dog days of summer. A dazy day is a lazy day with no thinking --just drinkin'. And maybe puttin' a line in the water to make it look like yer doin' somethin'.

Style is _SUNDAZE.STY (Sun Daze Acoustic 12-8 Blues), although the only part I kept was the one acoustic guitar.

Today's gonna be a lazy day fishin' in the brook.
I'm gonna lay agin that old oak tree and watch my fishin' hook.
The clouds roll by, the Sun is high and Nature's music plays.
The fish won't even swim these dazy days.

As time flys by I realize this is what life needs.
So I'll lay my back on this old oak tree and live with the weeds.
My bobbin floats, there are no boats and Nature's music plays.

Just drinkin' moonshine and drawing on my pipe
Relaxin' like a woodpile like m' doc p'escribed.

The day turns to dusk and bullfrogs start croakin' for a mate.
Time to reel in line, bid my fish farewell and go. It's gettin' late.
When nighttime falls my bedroll calls.
I watch the new moon phase.
The crickets say goodnight on dazy days.
I hope tomorrow brings more dazy days.
