OK, I'm creating a great sad cowboy type country backing track, I've assigned live instruments to each of the 5 default tracks thus:

B=Bass
P=Guitar 1
D=Drums
G=Guitar 2
S=Pedal Steel

I've also recorded a piano solo on the solo track, now here's the big problem, the arranger/chord window can only utilize the 5 default tracks when sustaining the instruments (I'm not sure what you would call it when using either .. or ...), for example, the last 4th bar of a verse would have these chords to lead into the chorus (notice the ... after the G):

C, Dm, F, G...

Now when I use G... it sustains all the instruments for the duration of the last 4 beats of the 4th bar, or if I use G...D, which would sustain all but the drums, but I can only use any or a combination of the default 5 tracks, BPDGS, but as I have a piano solo on the solo track, and on that 4th bar first beat for the remaining 3 beats, until the next bar, I want to sustain all tracks but still have the solo track playing, for example, if I want just the default piano track (now assigned as a guitar track), I would use G...P which would effectively sustain all tracks (including the solo track) except the default piano track and it would play the instrument assigned to it, but if I used F5 to edit that bar and mute everything except the solo track, there is no instrument sustain, just a sudden stop, which I don't want.

Is there a way to do this?
