I composed and recorded this guitar tune for a young couple by the name of Charlie & Jason = CharJas. The music is BB and also the classical intro, real "Bachish"

I began in 1970 with a 7 piece dance band. I had other bands, but my most successful one was "The four Windows", a 4 piece guitar band. Many concerts, TV shows, Record contract with EMI and a guitar hit in 1982 in Europe with my "Lonely Seagull".
Wolf, listened to this yesterday but neglected to respond. Like what you've done here. You didn't post the BiaB credits, but based on what I'm hearing I'd guess these are some pretty old backing tracks. Nothing wrong with that, it's happily nostalgic hearing those tried and true bandmates. Nice job developing your themes over the changes, and a very satisfying listen. Hope you can find the time to listen and respond to a few tracks by other posters. Think you'll find that experience a lot richer than just posting. Trust me, I've been THERE...

AH, JS Bach is my all-time favorite --with Vivaldi. Once did his Prelude #1 in C Major on bass. What a wonderful challenge.
Man, this is absolutely outstanding playing, Wolfgang. I like how you followed Bach with such style and brought it to a seemingly Mexican wedding. Man, I'd love to hear The Four Windows in concert. Love this!!!
Mexican Wedding was my plan all along... Thanks for your kind words. I miss playing for people, but with almost 76 you better hide in the studio...

Hi there! I love your recordings and songs very much. I wish we were neighbors and could collaborate. How do you get Pedal Steel on your recordings? I love country music, but I was never able to get that right.

By the way, you found a photo of me (tall guy on the right) and my 80's band "The Windows". We played guitar tunes from the Shadows, dressed in 50's suits. When EMI offered me a record contract in 1981, I started composing my own tunes. In 82 EMI released my "Lonely Seagull", which became a hit in Europe. A little later they also released our album "Identity". Here is a video from one of the TV live concerts we did.

This is my "Lonely Seagull" I recorded with the Swiss National DRS Orchestra in 1992.

Really like this instrumental. Had me dancing for the start! Great construction, arrangement and production.

The tracks you use. They all have names and numbers.

I lived in Germany 12 years and my best German friend was Wolfgang Schmidt. He was from Kusel. But it seems half the men I met in Germany were named Wolfgang, Erhardt, or Stefan.
Nice song and playing. That was a super listen.
In the 1980s, I was on a show on Channel 8, out of Dortmund. Our band had a one-hour country show a couple of times.
I enjoyed your playing very much.
Ich habe deine Musik sehr genossen. Dein Gitarrenspiel ist sehr gut.
Thanks for the nice words. I was the lead Guitarist of the Swiss group "The four Windows". We initially played only Shadows and Spotnics tunes, but when EMI offered us a record contract in 1981, I started composing our own tunes. One of those, "Lonely Seagull", became a hit in 1982. The year after I was invited to a mixed musical TV show in Baden Baden, Germany. Melanie, Hank B. Marvin and Udo Lindenberg were also there. In the artists lounge, during recording brakes, Melanie grabbed her guitar and made us all sing songs with her. It was a fun day!
