Excellent blues song and I love those long solos. What you call comping from regenerations I call hybrid tracks. I find I'm having to hybridise more and more. Comping is a mix engineer term from the tape recording days - I’m old. 😀 Glad you liked it! J&B

Wow - what a great job you've all done with this! Janice, well, we all know how good her vocals are, by now, and yet she still manages to pleasantly surprise us with every song you all post on here which features her singing. Peter plays that guitar as if there's no tomorrow, and the mix is crystal clear and, to my ears at least, absolutely perfectly balanced (well done, Bud). Great writing (love the modulations, to pick just one thing to single out for praise), great lyrics, superb rendition. Congratulations.

Well, this was an awesome song! And I realised how I missed this kind of songs the last couple of weeks.
I read, that everyone here had the same kind of feeling I have.
A great song, a nasty guy again, of course, and wonderful vocals. That's how Blues must sound!
About the SoundCloud 'promises'; I to noticed their promisses to listen to the song, and sharing it in the coming days. Haven't heard anything yet. Have you?

Most of the songs in the list have 20-30 thousand streams. But it hasn’t shown up on the list. Glad you like the song and tolerated yet another nasty guy! Sad story full of darkness and tears, always works for me in a blues song. Peter's solo work is excellent, such a sad tone and melody and the bending really hurts - even Gary Moore would have been jealous. Janice's voice is of course full of pain and emotion - this is like a battle between Janice and Peter, which one of you expresses more sadness, I can't decide  The mix is very pleasant to my ears. An instant classic that doesn't wear out by listening to it. Janne Reviews like this make all the effort more than worth while. Your mention of the battle between Peter and Janice is so appreciated as it is a perfect description. And he likes Gary Moore so that remark is very meaningful.
