Everything Is Turning Blue on Soundcloud Everything Is Turning Blue on YouTube You now how people say when you die things either turn black or you see the white light? Well, when Blues players die, things stay pretty much the same. They were in Heaven all along. I can feel I'm gonna fall apart, and I'm in misery. If I break, who'll be my healing glue? Everything is turning blue. I didn't see the signs, but they're overwhelming now. They are moving darkenss through my mind at such a cost. There's a time I felt I was on top, but it's all gone somehow. One thing now I can't deny is true, everything is turning blue. I regret decisions made, but cannot take them back; The darkness that now makes me blue is slowly turning black. So what am I to do with this cloud that's over me? Are there good times left for me to live, or is this all? Will there ever be another day when I am finally free of this pain inside that won't pass through? Everything is turning blue. Oh wow, I know I've said this before, but you guys sure make a great team! I like the entire production so much it's hard to pick out a favorite part. Great vocals and bass, and as always that lead guitar just slays me. Good one!

Marty, what a great song and a great SOUNDING song, too. You guys just kill it. The BiaB backing is really nice, but those are some insane human performances by you and Dave. Fantastic job!

Songwriting punctuates our lives. It is alchemy, turning pain into gold. Songs choose their composers when they enter the world. I try to remain open and ready.

Take care,
Alan Thanks very much, Alan. Only the most accomplished writers can use the words farther and further correctly. hehe Marty you and Dave are so darn good together Marty, great vocal, lyrics, and mix Dave, a fantastic haunting lead guitar Loved it Thank you, Mario. Yeah, Dave's lead work is what sells the song. Otherwise folks are confused and even sad for the bluesman who dies and nothing changes. Dave's playing shows how heavenly the bluesman's life already is. Hi Marty and Dave.
Your vocals really suited this moody song. I love the crying guitar. Great lyrics A good job on biab and played instruments.
Regards Brian Thanks, Brian. Glad you like it and stopped by to say so. My last visit to your YT channel is demanding a return visit. What they said! Blues guitar, solid vocals, big sound. Thanks, David. Well said. Much appreciated.

When a blues musician dies, the first thing he does is writing a song with the starting line "I didn't wake up this morning" And then he goes to a heavenly place where he will be inspired by the endless misery and everlasting pain The title says everything that is to come. Excellent lyrics, every line full of blues - regret and misery. I especially like the line "If I break, who'll be my healing glue?". The melody is touching - kind of a prototype of all blues songs, "all you need is blues - and Dave's crying guitar" What a vocal delivery, such a deep and sad emotion involved in every word, I like the rising "blue". And that video is magical, I really enjoyed the amazingly colorful images, they really capture the essence of the message with an interesting contrast. Janne

I have to laugh when you sing a blues about getting the blues and underneath the lyrics it says “Enjoy whatever happens” A really good song, Dave plays perfectly when needed and shuts up when you need the space for your really good vocals. Perfect band, certainly one of your best songs. Kudos to all involved

You guys are a powerhouse of bluer than blue blues. It's an understatement to say you have mastered this art form. Well done, and hopefully this is not autobiographical for anyone

This is everything I've come to expect from a Marty with Dave song. Blues based, Stinging guitar, Life lessons and excellent in every way. Thanks, Ray. I once had a band I called Blues' Branches cuz every song starts with the blues. Most impressive. A lot of work went into the detail of this creation. Well done. Thanks, AT. Always special when you drop by. Enjoy! Hey Marty...you sure know how to get everything out of a minor key...you have such a volume of great music that you and Dave produce...another blues masterpiece...I am totally amazed at the quality of the work you produce...super vocal and really cool video as well! Love this comment, as I always enjoy all you say. Yeah, that blues guys probably died at a quarter to three and he had a matchbox filled with all his stuff for the short walk to Blues Heaven.

The real trick is putting some joy into even the things you don't like. Thanks, man. Yeah, Dave knows his way around the Blues for sure, and he's pretty darn good with other genres too. Always a treat. You guys are a powerhouse of bluer than blue blues. It's an understatement to say you have mastered this art form. Well done, and hopefully this is not autobiographical for anyone Thanks so much, Steve. It's probably more like the Blues has mastered us.
