Buenos días Carlos, gracias por el servicio tan extraordinario que, por tu mediación presta Biab a sus clientes y usuarios. Una vez aclaradas mis dudas y si se confirman mis certezas, formularé la petición para que me envíen el Upgrade 2008 a 2010.5 en disco Usb de 1´5Tb.
Preguntas:
1ª) Voy a cambiar de ordenador. ¿Tengo que volver a cargar en el ordenador nuevo: Primero todo lo antiguo que tengo de Biab (incluso los discos de baterias reales y realtracks) y luego el “Upgrade 2008 a 2010.5”, o solo hace falta que conecte el disco Usb al ordenador nuevo para trabajar con todo en wav.?
2ª)¿Todo lo antiguo de Biab que tengo, está dentro del Upgrade 2008 a 2010.5 y no hace falta cargar lo antiguo hasta 2008?
3ª) ¿En “Upgrade 2008 a 2010.5” está el manual de funcionamiento en español para imprimirlo y estudiar el funcionamiento del programa.?
4ª) ¿Tengo que cargar “Upgrade 2008 a 2010.5” y luego la versión a Español de 2010 que me mandaste en el enlace el otro día? para que el Biab 2010.5 se vea en español?
5ª)¿Al adquirir “Upgrade 2008 a 2010.5 (499$) tengo todo que ha editado Biab en audio hasta la fecha.?
6º)¿No necesito nada más que mi ordenador portátil y el disco Usb que me envíen de 1´5 Tb para trabajar en audio utilizando solamente la tarjeta de sonido del reproductor de audio de mi ordenador portátil?

Hola Isidro, gracias, como siempre, es un placer poder ser útil a nuestro usuarios y tratar de resolver sus dudas y preguntas.
Tus preguntas con las respectivas respuestas:
1ª) Voy a cambiar de ordenador. ¿Tengo que volver a cargar en el ordenador nuevo: Primero todo lo antiguo que tengo de Biab (incluso los discos de baterias reales y realtracks) y luego el “Upgrade 2008 a 2010.5”, o solo hace falta que conecte el disco Usb al ordenador nuevo para trabajar con todo en wav.?
Existen cuatro opciones para instalar el programa, las cuales coloco mas abajo en orden. En mi experiencia propia he encontrado que el rendimiento del programa desde el disco duro USB es excelente, sin embargo puede tener sus variaciones dependiendo de la densidad de las tareas realizadas. En mi experiencia y la de muchos usarios, al usar Band in a Box con los RealTracks y RealDrums (RT, RD) el funcionamiento ha sido perfecto desde el disco duro externo USB, siempre y cuando estemos seguros de haberlo conectarlo a un puerto USB 2.0 para poder usar la velocidad completa de transferencia del disco duro en dicho puerto de hasta 480 Mbits/s. Las variaciones o caidas de rendimiento podrían darse en algunos casos al utilizar el programa RealBand con muchas pistas de audio reproduciendose al mismo tiempo. Esto es algo inherente a las limitaciones del mismo USB que puede llegar a congestionarse o saturarse con la transmisión de muchos datos, creándose en algún momento un "cuello de botella" . También es posible que el tiempo de espera de "renderizado" o proceso de interpretación de los datos de los RT y RD al reproducir una canción que los contenga sea un poco mayor desde el disco duro USB dado su menor velocidad de lectura comparado a los discos internos basados en SATA o aún en E-IDE. Si el espacio disponible en disco no es problema yo recomendaría instalar el programa completo en el disco duro en tu PC de escritorio o Laptop, ya que esto implica alguna ventajas extra, como la mejora en las tareas que dependen del disco y mayor integración a la mano con tus programas de audio y música. Igualmente al hacer menos uso de tu disco duro USB de Band in a Box lo podrás preservar como respaldo del material. También por medio de la opción no. 4, podrás personalizar tu instalación de manera de seleccionar solo los componentes de Band in a Box que desees usar desde el disco duro USB y los que quieras instalar en tu PC.
Opción #1 - Ejecutar Band-in-a-Box directamente desde la unidad USB solamente (se requiere 20 MB de espacio en disco)
Con esta opción se intalarán y registrarán solo los archivos básicos del programa, tales como las fuentes de notación y los sintes VCS DXi y VST. Las Pistas, Baterías Reales (RealTracks, RealDrums) y el programa RealBand no se instalarán y podrán ser usados tal cual están pre-instalados en la unidad USB. Encontrarás accesos directos en la carpeta PGMusic de tu disco duro externo USB. Esta opción de instalación es ideal para trabajar con Band-in-a-Box en condiciones de poco espacio de disco duro en el PC o en una portatil Laptop, ya que solo tendrás que usar un mínimo de espacio en el disco principal.
Opción #2 - Instalar Band-in-a-Box en el disco duro de su computadora, dejar RealTracks en la unidad USB
Opción #3 - Instalar Band-in-a-Box Y RealTracks en el disco duro de su computadora .Dependiendo del pack se requiere desde 40 GB hasta 1.5 TB (versión Audiophile) de espacio libre en disco.
Opción #4 – Instalación personalizada – Elija exactamente lo que desea instalar (Avanzado)
2ª)¿Todo lo antiguo de Biab que tengo, está dentro del Upgrade 2008 a 2010.5 y no hace falta cargar lo antiguo hasta 2008?
Todo hasta la versión 2010.5 está en el disco duro que vas a recibir, no necesitas cargar nada antiguo, excepto los archivos de canciones creados por ti en versiones anteriores.
3ª) ¿En “Upgrade 2008 a 2010.5” está el manual de funcionamiento en español para imprimirlo y estudiar el funcionamiento del programa.?
La actualización al idioma español publicada en este foro es lo único que necesitaras instalar extra para tener el manual. Al momento nos encontramos traduciendo la versión 2010.5 al Español, pero las diferencias con la versión 2010 son mínimas, por lo cual no tendras problemas si usas el actualizador 2010 hasta que la traducción al 2010.5 este disponible.
4ª) ¿Tengo que cargar “Upgrade 2008 a 2010.5” y luego la versión a Español de 2010 que me mandaste en el enlace el otro día? para que el Biab 2010.5 se vea en español?
La respuesta anterior es valida también aqui, ya que solo tendrás que usar la actualización al Español de la 2010 que te enviamos.

En cuanto a Band in a Box, los RealTracks y RealDrums y los demas componentes del PAK, tu ordenador y el disco es todo lo que vas a necesitar.
NOTA: puede ser que requieras instalar la version 2010 y luego actualizar a la 2010.5 si vas a instalar Band in a Box en otro disco duro, como por ejemplo tu portatil. Todo lo que necesites para hacerlo debe estar en el disco duro que vas a recibir, de todas formas, en el momento de ordenar tu PAK, consulta con el operador si usas el chat en vivo, y asegurate de confirmar que estas recibiendo el "upgrade" del 2008 al 2010.5, tambien puedes enviar un email a sales@pgmusic.com, pero reitero que todo lo que necesites debe estar en tu PAK.

Gracias, muchas gracias Carlos por la información que me facilitaste para la adquisición de Biab Audiophile.
La entrega fue rápida, pues en tan solo 3 días tenía el disco duro de 1´5 Th.
No les he escrito antes porque he estado sin ordenador, ya que tuve que formatear el disco duro para limpiarlo y dejarlo preparado para utilizar el programa.
El funcionamiento es ¡Sensacional!. El sonido perfecto y la velocidad increible.
Estoy muy contento tanto con el producto como con la información de usted, pues creo, sinceramente, que he hecho una buena compra.
La velocidad de respuesta es francamente buena.
Unicamente me preocupa que si, por cualquier accidente ( que se cayera el disco duro al suelo, o causa desgraciada) y se estropeara, me quedaría sin él.
No dudes por un momento que lo cuidaré por todos los medios.

Buenas tardes de nuevo a todos.
Me gustaría hacer una consulta sobre Biab ia 2010.5 Audiophile.
¿Puedo grabar con un teclado maestro, vía midi, en la pista de melodía una melodía y, mediante el Mago del acorde y facilitándole el estilo en que me gustaría
escribir la canción, obtener los acordes que corresponden a esa melodía según el estilo.?
