Ha! Thanks for putting a big (grim) smile on my face. Super song and LOVE the harmonies. Nuthin' implies sadness better than a fiddle, unless it's a dobro, and...you've got both! Clever write and a spot on performance. Nice BiaB backing, too. Two thumbs up from me.

Cool song, Izzy. Well written with a catchy sing-along melody and lyrics. Definitely relatable. Like the harmony and the fiddle. I like the way you write the Bridge to be like a different version of the same song and bring it in and out seamlessly. Much fun.

I enjoyed that! Fun to listen to. I like the way the persona seems to holding on to his sanity amid the sky high cost of living. Clever lyric writing.
I worked two jobs when I was in my twenties and my wife worked too. I'd be dead if I still worked those type of hours.

Man, fine write, vocals and choice of BiaB session guys. Good use of the solo fiddle.
Back in our bluegrass band days we used to play a lot of swing like this ... so right in our wheelhouse.
The mix sounds excellent on our monitors. Nice and open with all the tracks cooperating with one another.
