I guess this qualifies under performance.

Tonight my wife and I went to see Diamond Rio. Really nice theater, we had good seats. Second row. We had dinner and then went to the concert.

The band is a six time vocal group of the year winner. More number one hits than they could fit into the time. Musically tight.

The problem was, they were so loud it was difficult to hear those award winning vocals. Since the auditorium wasn't sold out, we moved towards the back about where the FOH was mixed. The vox were still muffled and down in the mix. You'd think that a group of that stature would have a live performance mix that sounded like their records.
