I know someone who has a hotel with bar in Mallorca, Spain, by the name "El Coto". One year I went there for a vacation, but before I left home, I renamed one of my guitar pieces to "El Coto" as a gift for her. She played it every night in the bar and it became quite a local hit. The tune is a combination of Spanish influenced and electric Rock guitar. I play both (but not at the same time smile

I began in 1970 with a 7 piece dance band. I had other bands, but my most successful one was "The four Windows", a 4 piece guitar band. Many concerts, TV shows, Record contract with EMI and a guitar hit in 1982 in Europe with my "Lonely Seagull".

Wolf, sounds like a Fistful of Guitars! Cool, cinematic style. Can understand this being a hit. I'd be interested in the BiaB content, too.

I'm almost new here and not sure what BiaB means exactly, but I assume it has to do with Band in a Box. Which I have used since 1992. This is how I work with BB: I always use at least Bass and Drums for my demos and recordings, but other instruments as well, and if I find something in the Styles, I also use that (example "CharJas" with the classical intro. Then I export each instrument individually to my home studio and modify, edit, master the tracks. Then I add vocals, guitars, keyboard, and for this tune even "Castanets". I created "El Coto" years ago when I still had the old Band in a Box.

Please let me know what BiaB is, if this doesn't cover it. I like to do things the right way.

Wolf, BiaB is an acronym for Band-in-a-Box.

Thanks four your kind response. I've been using BB since the early 1990's and also recorded this tune several years ago. I can't remember what exactly I used, its too long ago, but definitely bass and drums. I use what ever I can use, then export it to my studio and work on it.
