Good stuff! I lived in San Antonio in the 1970s and our band played there and many of the outlying clubs in Austin, New Braunfels, Helotes, and a few other places. You captured the Texas country-rock vibe quite nicely.

Well, that was fun!
Yeah, lots of great players came out of Texas, no question. Johnny Winter and Stevie Ray Vaughan are two of my favorite players of all time, saw Johnny twice and Stevie three times.
Good song, enjoyed.

It cranks and chugs nicely.
I enjoyed it but had the nagging thought that I'd rather hear "Play THAT Texas Rock n Roll" rather than THE.
My only nit would be that the solo didn't really take off & the guitars had just a little too much fizz.

London may have been the place to be in the 60's but you hit the jackpot being in San Antonio in the 70's (the best era of music, then and since)

Good catch Scott. Yes there is midi organ playing chops during the guitar solo. I was trying to emulate a technique that Steppenwolf (remember them?) used to create some light and shade in their music.
