I'm not a fan of cats. I'm actually highly allergic to them. If I touch it I have to wash my hands because if I then touch my face I will swell up like a bunch of bees got hold of me.

Many years ago a little girl in the neighborhood had a kitten. Her cat had given birth and she was playing with one of the kittens. My wife wanted it so if course we suddenly had a cat. For the next 13 years I had to take precautions, washing my hands, and make sure it didn't crawl up on me when I was napping. They have a sense that you don't want them on you and that just makes them more determined to be on you.

We don't have cats now mainly I think because the two dogs we have don't like cats and are not afraid to express their dislike of the feline species.
