Marty...this is brilliant...conceptually one of your best...first off I love the style of this piece...it is indeed spirited country...but it's the hook and the lyric that are captivating...super play on words (which you are a master at for sure!)...cool story (very apropos in 2024 "the year of lies")...not a word out of place or insignificant in context...and man you nailed the vocals! this was so fun and funny...you excel at this stuff! Thanks, Dan. The spirit of the country. Isn't it funny? It's always a great start when the premise is based on a dad joke.
Cool arrangement, perfect grand daughter insertions and a bass that supports the song wonderfully.
