Ah, you are a very mild fellow, Alan. This is a beautifully mellow piece creatively crafted. Love the harmonica, and the sound you gave it. Those are some tough changes for most harpists. Makes me long for the solitude of the prairie, prairy, prairee. Hey Marty, Sorry for the late reply - medical situation and all that. Glad you liked, in particular, the harmonica. I looked a long time for a harmonica RT that was laid back and not too busy. I was delighted to have found this one. I guess it got lost out there on the prayr-ee, pr... whatever, for a while. And yeah, that harpist dug around and found some real nice changes. Thanks so much for the kindness. Alan

Alan...you always seem to get it right...you captured the feeling of a campfire out on the prairie with a little jazz feel in it...it's very difficult (I think) to shape melodies from the real track's riffs and runs but you sir are a master at it...the instrumentals you post don't sound like random riffs pasted together but rather cohesive melody lines are formed into really nice songs and this is no exception...so well done! Hi Dan,, It always pleases me tp see a comment from you. Well, I don't ALWAYS get it right; but sometimes it works out okay. Master? Don't think so. but I appreciate your appreciation for my efforts. First and foremost, prayers for you as you seek the lifestyle change to get healthy!
Secondly, I'm a lyric fanatic so I don't typically listen to long to instrumentals but this one captivated me to be sure. Nicely done! The string bending and mournful harp only adds to the beauty of this one.

You got exactly imagery you were intending. I see a man on a horse poking along in the tall grass. Mix sounds perfect in my headphones.
