Badbye (Vocal Version) I put this song up recently on the forum as an instrumental and I received many generous comments. I also mentioned that I had written lyrics for the song, hoping someone might volunteer a vocal.
I'm pleased to report I found a singer (not from the forum), and I think he does a wonderful job.
Please have a listen or two and let me know what you think.
Your comments and suggestion will be most appreciated.
BADBYE, is a song about a breakup. I wrote it 30 years ago when I was trying to hold my marriage together. I wrote it, including the lyrics, hoping to persuade my wife to stay.
I failed.

I used Kontakt instruments, including the Electric Mint Session Guitarist and Prime Bass.
The drums are mostly RealDrums featuring Miles McPherson. The heavier middle section features his NashvilleRadioPowerBallad16^5-AB.
Vocals: Richie George
Badbye (Vocal Version) Forget about the Bob Dylan Concerts.
No, we weren't really there.
Forget about the night at Simpson's in the Strand
or the romance of Maison Prunier.
Forget about the trip we took through Europe
in a clapped-out camper van.
And try not to smile when you think back for a while,
and remember the good times if you can.
I've been accused of nought.
(But) I've been abused for sport.
I'm confused and I’m distraught,
feeling blue and forlorn.
(‘cause) I'm losing you for sure.
Forget about the raising of our children.
No, there's nothing there to share.
I thought we were a team.
That was just a dream.
Now it's ending like a casual affair.

I don't want to dwell now in days past.
There's no future in that.
But we are what we've seen, who we've known and where we’ve been.
And now, you say we’re through,
that you want something new.
And the bad part, the frustrating mad part, the heart-breaking sad part
is there’s nothing I can do.
