I AM HERE FOR YOU
Sometimes we need a place to run and hide to get away from
All the fears that get rule our minds and tear us up inside

Sometimes the worlds a dark and lonely place only filled with hate
And you want to disappear and find a place that’s safe

when the whole worlds against you
when you feel alone you can call on me

I am here for you if you need me to
When the night is cold and dark and
there’s no one left to turn to
I am for you If you ask me to
When you need a hand to hold or
someone just to talk to

Sometimes the world can be so cruel and filled with fools who talk the game and leave a hole inside leave you barely alive

All the colors fade to black you cant find your way back from the depths of pain drive you insane.

Sometimes you feel you're losing ground going round and round and round all the mountain that you climb never get to the other side

Sometimes the worlds a dark and lonely place only filled with hate
And you want to disappear and find a place that’s safe

Elliot, this is a great sounding song! The stereo drums and bouncy bass make a great rhythmic base, and the panning synth is a cool texture. Super job programming the vocals. Cool fade ending, too. As usual, I'm mesmerized by your arrangement and purposeful placement of each element along your musical narrative. Great tune!

I'm a little confused by your credits, since the BiaB credits are duplicated by you and/or other sources. Not a huge deal, but you're definitely getting some nice sounds we don't hear a lot from BiaB, and I'm curious...

It started as a simple 4 chord acoustic guitar piece. I then brought it into BIAB to flesh out the arrangement. But I just couldn't find a good style for the groove. Which is sort of a hip hop bounce. So I brought it into my DAW Cubase and finally found a drum pattern in Groove Agent that worked. From there I added and subtracted, doubled, and overwrote various parts until I got it. For example, the bass is some BIAB and I played parts and cut them together. So are the heavy guitar power chords, and the pianos.

I'm in a minority of one I know but I loathe the here for you/there for you thing. It became currency very quickly.
The song is a nice change of direction for you - tonally & atmospherically. The vocal is effective if a little stilted.
I think I'd prefer your voice.

Hi Elliott,

Wow - this is another great song from you.

What I particularly like are:
1. The vocals - terrific - In tune and I can hear every single word without looking at the lyrics - a lesson for everybody on this forum.
2. Backing - highly inventive with lots of variation and interest - another lesson for us all.
3. Chorus - very good.
4. Outro - excellent interplay between the two vocalists.

keep up the excellent work.

Best Regards
Nigel

Hi, Elliott.

There's some cool ear candy here - especially the use of stereo.

Pleasant song, the vocals and harmony work nicely. The build at the end works really well, too. smile

Got it, thanks! Every time I try that I can hear the transition, you did a great job splicing the pieces together seamlessly.

Another great job on the synths. Man, I really like how this song develops. What a brillinat start, and I it soars when the harmony comes in. Oustanding work on the instruments. Super mix and a terrific arrangement. Such great dynamics really keep the listener listening. Man, this is such a good mix with a strong polish and finish. So well done, Elliott. Glad you're here.

Enjoy whatever happens!

Now THIS is a nice duet, your call-and-response arrangement works really well.
The way you use the stereo field is right up my alley.
Enjoyed my listen.

Yes, Elliot this is very super and a radiant pop song!

You have become really really good at this catchy, almost Broadway sounding genre of commercial pop.

I'm not saying Broadway in a bad way I'm saying it as a high compliment. Some pretty intense production and composition skills going on here my friend.

Hi Elliott,

As always, a super song and production.

I love the variety of sounds from one section to another. Excellent use of the Synth vocals.

This one put a smile on my face. The production is superb. I always admire your creativity.

Hello Elliott,

I agree with all above. A very good song!
Good buildup of it all. Very good vocals and bright drums and all other sounds in it.
Yes, I enjoyed it. Like Al said, it put a smile con my face

The drums and synths intro got my attention straight away - and the rest of the song didn't disappoint.
You've put together a great band here: your adding, subtracting, doubling and overwriting really worked.
You did a great job with the synth voices too.
I really enjoyed this.
