Gouldman is one of my favorite tunesmiths and 10cc was/is a great band. All the songs I would have wanted to hear were on that setlist (Clockwork Creep, I'm Mandy, Dreadlock Holiday, I'm Not in Love...). I'm very envious of your concert experience. Might have been a little weird if they were playing Hollies songs though.
There was an opening set by Robin Taylor Zander, son of the Cheap Trick singer. Unfortunately, the best material he sang was written by his dad for that band. A large number of us would have been glad to hear the Gouldman songs made famous by Hollies, Herman's Hermits and Yardbirds etc. during that half hour.
