I was wondering why you missed the meeting and now I know.

We took a family vacation to Alaska before the girls had graduated from school. That's a great place. I'd hate to be there in the winter though. More than 12 inches of snow at one time is something I don't want to deal with as well as temperature much below 25°f. I hear they get multiple feet of snow and temps below zero so...... Not for me. When we got off the cruise ship we ended up staying in Vancouver for 3 nights and explored the city around the historic hotel we stayed in.
We had a great time, met some great people, and saw things many people will never get a chance to see. Expensive trip but you only live once.
