re time sig and tempo tracks and markers and styles user control etc.

ive thought about this topic over many years.
and pondered how to do this while maintaining the most
waveform real estate for the user.
(too many daws i find 'cluttered'....whereas reaps v2 that i sometimes use shows maximum waveform real estate....ie uncluttered.)
heres what i came up with...feel free to critique.
(applies to bb new tracks view and rb main tracks view.)

1..have a CONTROL TRACK (CT) that can be hidden or shown on user command. (ie a control centre.)
2..CT would have the following features...
...ability to change time sig at any time point.
...ditto for tempo.
...AND MAYBE ALSO ability to enter chords and change them at any time point !!
...AND MAYBE also ability to enter and change markers at time points. eg like in some daws INTRO OR VERSE 2 OR BRIDGE OR CHORUS 3 OR OUTTRO ...whatever the user wants.
but maybe haveing thought further a seperate markers track OR in timeline ability to enter/change/see markers.
the whole intent being the user knows exactly where they are
at different times/bars....
(note chords would be displayed as currently in timeline)

THE WHOLE PRODUCT CONCEPT IS TO HAVE NEW TRACKS VIEW BECOMEA USERS MAIN WORK CENTRE.
the advantage being to save user time flitting around to/fro different views.
eg flitting tween chords and tracks view.

feel free to critique and add your own thoughts.

ps. addendum.

1..its assumed that CT could be used to change styles.
2..on left hand side of CT would be current info at any time point.
time//bar//style//tempo//time sig etc.
ie CT would display above all normal tracks.

a final thought ...maybe CT allow entry of shots/holds/pushes in entering chords ? or maybe there should be a seperate chord track ?...so chord view is obsolete ? thus furthering the one view work centre concept...ie new bb tracks view for maximum productivity ??
